    EVERY LEARNER IS EXPECTED TO WEAR FULL UNIFORM FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.


    RULES AND REGULATIONS

    On registration, each learner will sign a contract form stating that they have read and agree with the following rules and regulations.

    THE RULES STATE THAT EVERY LEARNER WILL:

  • Abide by the regulations of LOMPEC College.
  • Refrain from acts of insubordination.
  • Refrain from laziness, absenteeism and negligence of school work.
  • Act in a manner commensurate with the dignity, respect and due decorum to learners and authority of the college.
  • Pay all stipulated fees on time or when required to do so.
  • Refrain from smoking in classes.
  • Refrain from narcotic drugs in and outside the premises.
  • Refrain from indulging in truancy, disrespect and disobedience.
  • Request permission from the authorities whenever there is a matter that would require him/her to leave the campus during school hours.
  • Perform all duties as may be required from him / her by the authorities from time to time.
  • Pay for any malicious damage or any loss pertaining by him/ her.
  • Avoid any quarrel and / or provocations that may lead to fighting in or outside the school premises.
  • Endeavour to be clean and keep the college premises as clean as possible and refrain from being derogatory and unbecoming.
  • Report to authorities the presence of any outsider/ visitor to the campus.
  • Failure to comply with any of the above rules will render the learner liable to such disciplinary procedure as the college committee may determine.
  • Report to the Matron/ boarding master whenever the learner is to go home or not sleep at the hostel.
  • All parents should make arrangements with the office whenever they need their children.
  • Permission slips will only be issued on Fridays and to be returned when the learners comes back.
  • Parents should make arrangements with the office should a learner wish to go home. No permission will be issued out without contact from the parent. The college shall not be held responsible in the case whereby learners do not reach home after permission was granted to the learner.
  • Cell phones are not allowed on the school's premises.

    DISCIPLINARY ACTION

  • Verbal caution reprimands shall be done by educators or any member of the college staff.
  • Where a learner persists in breaking the college rules; he/ she will be summoned to appear before the college disciplinary committee.
  • If the learner persists in disobedience; he/ she will be suspended for a period determined by the DC and parents will be notified by registered mail.

    CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

  • Cancellations will be accepted only if submitted in writing within 14 working days prior to opening date of semester, otherwise students shall not be entitled to a refund. Substitutions are, however allowed and the normal procedure of application should be followed.
  • All monies received will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever and dropout learners will still be required to pay the full tuition amount. Learners will not be allowed to write final exams until fees are fully paid.
